Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

Silo is a private, on-device app. It has no accounts and no servers that collect your information — so there is essentially nothing about you for us to gather, share, or sell.

What stays on your device

Everything you save in Silo — links, titles, prices, images, notes, and collections — is stored locally on your device, inside the app's private storage. This information is never sent to us, because Silo has no backend.

How Silo uses the network

When you save a link, Silo fetches that web page directly from the retailer to read its title, image, and price so your saved item looks complete. These requests go to the website you saved — not to Silo. When you tap Open & Buy, Silo simply opens that link in your browser.

Silo contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

Photos

If you choose a photo to use as an item's image, it is stored locally on your device. Silo only ever sees the single photo you pick — it does not access your photo library otherwise.

Data collection

Silo does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. There is no account to create and no profile to build. We do not sell or share data, because we never receive it.

Children

Silo is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
