Hey there! I'm Om Gandhi, a budding Mobile developer with a passion for turning creative ideas into functional and user-friendly mobile apps. Proficient in Swift, Java and Python and eager to learn, I bring a fresh perspective to iOS development. While my toolkit in the recent years includes Xcode, UIKit, and Core Data, and, I'm committed to staying on top of the latest industry trends and I also have gained intermediate levels of knowledge in Android development using Java and Python and Machine Learning algorithms. Jr. iOS Developer
- Researched and implemented the latest iOS technologies, resulting in a 30% increase in app functionality
- Redesigned an existing app, changing from old legacy Objective - C code to modern Swift code, increasing app performance by 50%.
- Contributed in the design of more than 3 apps to make the design seamless and easy to develop and work with.

Madira alcohol delivery e-commerce App (customer and delivery driver app)

Design an intuitive and visually appealing user interface that allows customers to easily browse and select from a wide variety of alcoholic beverages.
Implement a streamlined ordering process with clear navigation, enabling users to add items to their cart, specify delivery details, and complete the purchase with minimal effort.
Integrate an age verification mechanism to comply with legal regulations and ensure that the delivery of alcoholic beverages is made only to individuals of legal drinking age, enhancing both security and adherence to local laws.

Simple and intuitive interface for easy navigation. Dark/Light Mode: Support for both dark and light themes for user preference.
Future plans include integration with Touch ID or Face ID for secure access and support for bullet lists and image attachments once a viable alternative to Realm is identified.

Developed a weather application that provides real-time weather forecasts based on user location.
Utilized Swift, Core Location, and VisualCrossing API for data retrieval.
Implemented a user-friendly interface with dynamic UI elements.

Text and Image AI using OpenAI’s API

Researched about OpenAI’s API to access AI models and work with text generation and image generation.
Learned about text generation by implementing text-davinci-003 model to generate text from a prompt.
Implemented image generation code by developing on the Dall.E 2 model to generate any image by giving it a prompt.

Rainfall Prediction

Collected rainfall data based on temperatures and humidity collected from various sensors connected to an Arduino board.
Gained an understanding of Thingspeak and coded an Arduino UNO to upload all the data collected from sensors to Thingspeak. After successful collection of data, researched various ML models and chose the best one to predict the rainfall for the upcoming days with an outstanding 97% accuracy.

Home Automation App

Team Project - College Github

Coded a simple Android app to control a circuit made with ESP8266 and LED lights to simulate a model house automation project.
Used Android frameworks with Java as core language and Firebase as an backend service for a realtime database to control the model’s lights in realtime.
Worked as a team leader to research and understand about the project lifecycle from start to finish across 6 semesters.
